Our Story
Minninnooka takes its name from a station in Western Australia, where horses and polo were part of everyday life — my grandmother was the first woman to play polo in the state, and my father went on to become a 5-goal player.
That passion brought me to England, where I met my husband Daniel, raised within Argentine polo tradition. Today Minninnooka blends Australian heritage, Argentine polo and British polo life — with a fourth generation now taking to the field.

The Minninnooka Rider Pathway
At Minninnooka Polo & Riding School in Surrey, we provide a clear pathway for riders of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners through to competitive riders, horse owners and aspiring equestrian professionals. Many riders begin with our horse riding lessons, polo lessons and Pony Club activities, where they develop confidence, riding skills, horsemanship and a strong understanding of horse care.
As riders progress, they can join our Development Squads and Polo Training Squads, benefiting from structured equestrian coaching, regular riding opportunities and individual training plans designed to accelerate improvement. Riders can then take part in pony camps, instructional chukkas, polo tournaments, show jumping competitions, Pony Club rallies and team events, gaining valuable experience both in and out of the saddle.
For those looking to take the next step, Minninnooka also offers horse sales, horse sourcing, polo pony sales, schooling livery, polo livery and horse training services, helping riders find, develop and enjoy the right horse for their ambitions. Whether your goal is to learn to ride, improve your polo, compete at a higher level, own a horse or pursue a career in the equestrian industry, Minninnooka provides the coaching, horses and opportunities to support your journey every step of the way.
